Karkloof Falls

I walked to the Karkloof falls from Howick and took these photos on the way. The walk takes about two hours, but will be about three hours for normal people and probably about 3 and a half if you do not know short-cuts on the final hill down to the falls.

If you did not know, Karkloof falls are located near Umngeni and Howick in Kwazulu-Natal(Kzn), which is in South Africa. Howick is just North of Pietermaritzburg, which is near Durban.

A few of the photos are below, but you can click here to see hundreds of pictures of different views in and around the Karkloof falls.

These are the "little" Karkloof falls which are above the main falls.

Once you get past the security checkpoint, you go down this winding road before you actually get to the falls.

They had this "Anger Sign" when logging, but I am sure it means to say Danger.
